China to Set Carbon Standards for Consumer Products, NDRC Says

Oct. 6 (Bloomberg) -- China will soon set standards to
verify low-carbon consumer products to encourage people to buy
more environment-friendly goods, the official Xinhua News Agency
said, citing Sun Cuihua, deputy chief of the climate change
department at National Development and Reform Commission, as
saying at a United Nations climate change meeting in Tianjin.
