Vitol Buys 8.5 Million Emission Credits From KYOTOenergy

Oct. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Vitol Group, the world's largest
independent oil trader, said it bought 8.5 million Certified
Emission Reductions from Singapore-based KYOTOenergy Pte.
The credits are from a portfolio of hydropower and wind
projects in Vietnam and Laos, Geneva-based Vitol said today in
an e-mailed statement, without disclosing the price.
