Oct. 19 (Bloomberg) -- The European Union is disappointed
that regulators of the United Nations emissions market haven't
done more to ensure the quality of carbon offset credits,
according to Jos Delbeke, EU director general for climate.
The EU will propose a measure imposing quality restrictions
on credits related to curbing industrial gases before the next
round of global climate talks due to begin in Cancun, Mexico, on
Nov.29, he told a Platts seminar today in Brussels.
