UN Approves First Russian Joint Implementation Carbon Project

Oct. 18 (Bloomberg) -- A United Nations supervisory
committee approved the first Russian carbon-reduction joint-
implementation project under the so-called Track 2 procedure,
the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change said in an e-
mailed statement today.
