Oct. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Thailand's most severe floods in
five decades may cut the nation's gross domestic product in the
fourth quarter by 1 percent and reduce expansion for the full
year by 0.24 percent, according to a research unit of
Kasikornbank Pcl.
The floods may cause as much as 24 billion baht ($802
million) of damage, Kasikorn Research Center said in a statement
today. Thailand's growth this year is estimated to be 6.8
percent, with fourth-quarter expansion of 1.1 percent, it said.
