Swiss Re Says Study Sees Jump in U.S. Gulf Climate Change Losses

Oct. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Swiss Reinsurance Co. said a new
study by Entergy Corp. shows that annual losses in the U.S. Gulf
Coast from climate change, combined with economic growth and
land subsidence, may rise by as much as 65 percent to an average
of $23.4 billion by 2030.
Swiss Re commented today in a statement on its website.
