Sept. 6 (Bloomberg) -- E.ON AG said it plans to cut carbon
dioxide output per kilowatt-hour of power it generates by 50
percent by 2030.
The Dusseldorf-based company, commenting in an e-mailed
statement today, said that while it welcomes Germany's plan to
allow the country's nuclear reactors to run longer, "the
concrete effects and entrepreneurial consequences of this
political decision still needed to be analysed in detail."
