UN's Chief Climate Negotiator Cites Consensus on Assistance Fund

Sept. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Delegates at a two-day climate
meeting in Geneva are nearing a consensus on the need to
establish a fund to channel new money to poorer countries,
creating a new oversight body and engaging the private sector,
UN Chief Negotiator Christiana Figueres said today.
