Oct. 2 (Bloomberg) -- The Welsh Assembly government doesn't
plan to challenge an application for an environmental permit for
RWE AG's Pembroke power plant, the British Broadcasting Corp.
reported on its website, citing an assembly spokesman.
Welsh Environment Minister Jane Davidson is content with
the approach taken by the Environment Agency in dealing with the
request, the BBC reported. The Environmental group Friends of
the Earth has said the gas-fired power plant could damage
wildlife in the Pembrokeshire Marine Special Area of
Conservation, according to the broadcaster.
