German CO2 Blockage Will Prevent Outgoing EU Permit Transfers

Nov. 26 (Bloomberg) -- A German emission trading registry
blockage, that started yesterday, will prevent outgoing EU
permit transfers and allow incoming certificates, a spokeswoman
said.
"The suspension of transactions in the German registry
means that users can receive emissions certificates from
accounts at other foreign registries, but they won't be able to
send certificates from their accounts until the moment
the suspension ends," Julie Steinen, a spokeswoman for
DEHSt in Berlin said in an interview.
