German Carbon Registry Says Transactions Blocked Until Dec. 3

Nov. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Germany's carbon registry Dehst said
it blocked transactions until Dec. 3 after reports that access
data were stolen from users of other European emissions trading
registries with the help of a Trojan named Nimkey.
"Up to now we didn't learn about any such occurrences in
Germany,'' Dehst said on its website. ''We ask you to make sure
that your computer is not affected before a future log in to the
registry.''
Transactions will be blocked until 6 p.m. local time on
Dec. 3, Dehst said. The registry is offline since yesterday and
won't be online before 8 a.m. on Nov. 29 because of a scheduled
maintenance at the European central registry.
