Nov. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Barclays Capital may revise its
price forecast for European Union emission permits after the
bloc's regulator said phase 3 auctions were "hardly feasible"
next year.
The EU may action about 300 million metric tons of carbon
allowances in 2012, compared with the bank's previous forecast
of about 500 million in the two years through 2012, Trevor
Sikorski, a London-based analyst at Barclays Capital, said in a
telephone interview today.
Barclays Capital had expected some sales in the fourth
quarter of next year.
