Dec. 2 (Bloomberg) -- India may agree at climate talks in
Mexico to an international system allowing nations to monitor
each others' efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the
Indian Express reported, citing a government strategy paper.
India's agreement would be conditional upon the U.S. and
other developed countries pledging financial assistance and
other assurances, the report said. Envoys are gathered in the
Mexican resort of Cancun for the talks, due to end Dec. 10.
