Jan. 11 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. carbon-dioxide emissions from
energy use will fall 0.6 percent this year, according to a
forecast by the Energy Information Administration.
After this year's predicted drop, the result of falling
electricity production from power plants, carbon dioxide output
should climb by 2.4 percent in 2012 on "improvement in economic
growth," the EIA said today in its January Short-Term Energy
Outlook.
